Job Purpose

Emirates Engineering is a GCAA CAR V approved aircraft maintenance facility supporting Emirates' Airbus and Boeing fleet, as well as thirty other airlines through third-party contracts. Position: Procurement Manager - Powerplant

You will manage the procurement of goods and services, collaborating with relevant departments to ensure process efficiency and commercial effectiveness. You will act as the interface between Emirates and high-value suppliers, facilitating cross-functional teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sourcing and Supplier Selection: Develop sourcing plans, negotiate strategies, and evaluate suppliers to meet Emirates' requirements while minimizing costs and risks.
2. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitor performance through KPIs, and address any shortfalls.
3. Stakeholder Management: Support stakeholders in procurement-related initiatives, including spend assessment, business case preparation, and cost monitoring.
4. Processes and Procedures: Ensure alignment with corporate policies and regulations, review and improve procurement processes, and lead team performance management.
5. Powerplant Sourcing: Manage engine and APU sourcing, including negotiations on spare parts, support agreements, and warranties.
6. Operational Support: Coordinate with OEMs for support, leasing, and defect rectification.
7. Redelivery Optimization: Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure cost-effective redelivery of leased units, including negotiations on end-of-lease costs.
8. EEMC and EFTA Support: Provide procurement support for maintenance and aircraft purchase, including negotiations and business case development.
9. Contracting: Draft and negotiate contracts, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering (Mechanical/Aeronautical preferred)
• 8+ years in Procurement, Aircraft, or Supply Chain Management
• Experience in Airlines, OEMs, or Maintenance Organizations
• Knowledge of supplier performance management and airline maintenance activities
• Strong project management and market benchmarking skills
• Experience with aviation regulations (GCAA/FAA/EASA) is advantageous
