Job description

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Chinese (spoken and written) and possess strong procurement and supply chain management skills. This role involves developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop Procurement Strategies: Create procurement plans based on company objectives, including supply chain strategies, purchasing goals, and cost-effectiveness analysis.
  2. Supply Chain Management: Optimize the supply chain to ensure smooth logistics, effective inventory management, and coordination of production and delivery processes to meet business needs.
  3. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms with suppliers, covering pricing, delivery timelines, quality standards, and other key aspects to secure favorable agreements.
  4. Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitor performance, resolve potential issues, and continuously explore collaboration opportunities.
  5. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage the procurement team, ensuring efficient collaboration to achieve company purchasing objectives.
  6. Market Research: Conduct regular market analysis and competitive intelligence to stay updated on industry trends and supplier market conditions.
  7. Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks in the procurement process, implementing measures to ensure supply chain stability.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Education: Diploma or above in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  2. Experience: At least 3-5 years of overseas procurement experience, preferably in the UAE.
  3. Skills: Strong negotiation skills, cost control awareness, and supplier management expertise. Familiarity with industry market conditions and supplier resources.
  4. Communication: Excellent coordination skills and the ability to collaborate with suppliers and internal departments.
  5. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in office software (Excel, Word) and procurement management tools.
  6. Languages: Must be fluent in Chinese and English (spoken and written).
  7. Professionalism: Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
  8. Additional: Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and company procurement policies. Flexibility to travel or work overtime if necessary.
