Job description

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for the "Request to Pay" process (managing sourcing, procurement, and supplier relationships) to support export operations across the MEA & CIS. The role involves developing procurement strategies, optimizing supplier networks, and ensuring cost-effective and timely sourcing of Indirect goods, materials & Services in alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Compliance - Implementation of Regional and Global procurement Strategy. Ensure that all global and regional negotiations are implemented as per PVM policies (Vendor allocation, Contracts, Price lists, payment terms, etc.).
  2. Strategic Sourcing & Procurement. Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and high-quality sourcing for the export markets.
  3. Tactical Sourcing & Procurement. Be the point of contact for internal customers and external suppliers.
  4. Supplier & Vendor Management. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  5. Export Operations & Compliance. Ensure procurement processes align with international trade regulations, export documentation, and customs requirements for the assigned markets.
  6. Cost Optimization, Budget Control & Reporting. Monitor procurement costs and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality.

Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of procurement experience in FMCG.
  3. Proven experience in handling Indirect procurement & Services for export markets, specifically in the Middle East & Africa region.
  4. Strong knowledge of international trade, import/export regulations, and logistics.
  5. Excellent negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
  6. Strong analytical skills with experience in cost analysis and procurement optimization.
  7. Proficiency in ERP system (preferably in SAP).
  8. Experience in procurement software - preferably in ARIBA (managing Ariba Systems operations / Maintain and update local supplier catalogues and contracts in Ariba / Troubleshooting & User support in Ariba system issues)
  9. Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Arabic is preferred.
