Job Summary :

In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of purchasing specialists responsible for ensuring seamless material availability. You will play a strategic role in optimizing purchasing processes, driving operational excellence, and delivering superior customer service. This position involves overseeing and optimizing supplier performance, on-time PO placement, and delivery of procurement for finished goods and components at Dubai and Spark manufacturing hubs.

Central to this responsibility is the accountability for fostering a culture of excellence focused on people, processes, execution, and technology to build a best-in-class tactical purchasing function.

Responsibilities include :

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  2. Manage end-to-end purchasing and material management processes supporting efficient production with on-time Request Date Service Level (RDSL) and Promised Date Service Level (PDSL).
  3. Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, ensuring alignment with strategic purchasing processes.
  4. Manage supply risks and disruptions through contingency planning and risk mitigation strategies; utilize DII dashboards and shortage reviews for timely order fulfillment.
  5. Conduct supplier performance reviews and resolve invoicing issues.
  6. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
  7. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics, Finance, and Customer Care teams.
  8. Drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives using technology and data analytics.
  9. Prepare and present management reports on value creation, risks, and opportunities to support decision-making.
  10. Adhere to organizational HSE policies.

Qualifications :

  • Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain or equivalent.
  • ERP experience (Oracle, MRP, ASCP) and proficiency in digital tools (Power BI, Advanced Excel).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
