Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full procurement process, with at least 6 years experience in the mining industry
  • Management of various relationships regarding clients, buyers, and suppliers
  • Ensure the timely submission of monthly/weekly reports
  • Develop and maintain a manual of procedures, identifying key risks and recommending mitigation strategies to reduce exposure
  • Propose innovative solutions to reduce costs and enhance procurement and sourcing performance
Skills & Work Experience:
  • Qualified Technical Mechanical Engineer or similar
  • Prior experience in mining, with procurement, is essential
  • 5-10 years of relevant procurement experience
  • Experience with project procurement
  • Strong client communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong people and stakeholder management abilities
