Procurement Manager

Job Description

1. Responsible for leading the country procurement efforts to efficiently and effectively maximize the value received from the suppliers to meet the company objectives.
2. Works with each business unit to lead centralized sourcing and procurement efforts.
3. Works with the internal stakeholder from initial need identification to procurement strategy definition and implementation.
4. Drives supply analysis/strategy, supplier identification, sourcing execution, contract negotiation and suppliers performance management and improvement.
5. Delivers cost savings opportunities to the organization, and assist in developing commodity strategy.
6. Supports/Manages team capability build up by coaching and leading the team.
7. Creation and management of short, mid, and long term strategic procurement goals and objectives for Direct, Subcontracting and IM&S categories (together with his/her direct reports if there is any).
8. Creation and improvement of procurement processes in alignment with the stakeholders, including market analysis, strategy sourcing & negotiation and contract approval.
9. Identification and realization of cost-saving opportunities including local / regional consolidation projects.
10. Management of procurement systems.
11. Management of procurement staff in and across sourcing, contracting, supplier management, and miscellaneous internal procurement support activities.
12. Development of the team strategy and support for the employee development by offering proper training, coaching and job rotation opportunities.
13. Manage and monitor Supplier Performance, lead the development of corrective actions plans and follow-up when there are issues.
14. Develop and maintain supplier pool.
15. Ensure subcontractors' compliance with company policies and procedures in coordination with Global Compliance Team.
16. Analyze and understand the cost drivers associated with each category/supplier.
17. Benchmark current products across suppliers and identify consolidation opportunities.
18. Support procurement aspects of the related projects.

Qualifications

1. 8-10 years’ experience in procurement.
2. Strong leadership skill.
3. Team player at executive levels to collaborate with business units and functional partners.
4. In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices.
5. Strong negotiation skills.
6. Experience with modern sourcing and procurement systems.
7. Good communication skills, strategic mindset and problem-solving skills.
8. Good/Excellent written and spoken English.
