A leading consultancy in Dubai seeks an experienced Procurement Manager to define and execute procurement strategies. This role involves managing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing costs in specialty chemicals. Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong leadership in procurement and stakeholder engagement, with the aim of enhancing operational performance and efficiency within the organization.
Procurement Strategy & Cost Optimization. Develop and implement procurement strategies to drive efficiency and cost savings. Ensure 95%+ on-time execution of purchase orders within SLA. Drive annual cost savings through strategic sourcing and negotiations. Maintain 98%+ forecast accuracy and purchase request fulfillment. Supplier Performance & Risk Management. Ensure 95%+ compliance from Tier 1 suppliers on quality and service SLAs. Guarantee 100% contract coverage for high-value purchases. Resolve 100% of disputes and non-conformance reports within SLA. Conduct supplier audits and risk assessments to ensure reliability and compliance. Data, Systems & Reporting o Maintain 99%+ accuracy in procurement records and pricing data. o Ensure 100% on-time delivery of dashboards, supplier reviews, and reports. o Implement at least two major process improvements annually. o Leverage ERP systems and procurement analytics for data-driven decision-making. General Procurement Leadership o Oversee procurement operations across multiple categories, ensuring alignment with business goals. o Lead contract negotiations, supplier selection, and vendor management. Ensure compliance with global procurement regulations and industry standards. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity. Internal Collaboration & Stakeholder Satisfaction. Achieve 90%+ stakeholder satisfaction across cross-functional teams. Ensure 95%+ SLA compliance for internal procurement support. Develop and mentor procurement teams, ensuring 80%+ high-performance ratings. Work closely with R&D, production, and finance teams to align procurement with business needs.
Desired Candidate Profile
10-15 years of procurement experience in specialty chemicals, preferably lubricant additives. Preferred degree in chemical engineering or chemistry, but strong industry experience is acceptable. Expertise in supplier negotiations, cost optimization, and contract management. Experience with ERP systems, procurement analytics, and compliance frameworks. Proven leadership in team development and stakeholder collaboration.
