Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Expeditor to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies by coordinating closely with suppliers, logistics teams, and internal departments. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, the ability to resolve supply chain issues efficiently, and a keen eye for tracking procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and expedite purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate with suppliers to track order status, confirm shipping details, and resolve potential delays.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to prevent supply chain disruptions.
• Identify and mitigate risks that may impact delivery timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including order tracking and supplier performance.
• Work with vendors to resolve discrepancies in deliveries, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance and recommending improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain is an advantage.
