The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive research on potential products, vendors, and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough research on potential products, vendors, and services, comparing price and quality to secure the best deals.
2. Negotiate contracts with vendors and clients to achieve favorable terms and pricing.
3. Collaborate with delivery and store teams to ensure timely receipt of goods and accurate inventory management.
4. Collect material requests from various departments and develop procurement plans accordingly.
5. Monitor inventory levels and initiate orders to replenish stock as needed.
6. Inspect purchased products upon delivery, promptly reporting any issues or discrepancies.
7. Evaluate and grade suppliers based on quality, reliability, and service performance.
8. Maintain and regularly update an approved supplier list.
9. Keep detailed records of all purchased products and transactions.
10. Generate purchase orders efficiently using ERP systems.
11. Prepare comprehensive reports and conduct cost analyses to optimize procurement processes.
12. Participate in meetings related to production planning and procurement strategy.
13. Coordinate closely with the accounts department to ensure accurate financial reporting of all procurement activities.

Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the sheet metal and manufacturing industry.
3. Familiarity with the UAE market and its specific procurement requirements.
4. Proficiency in purchasing software and ERP systems.
5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
6. Excellent research and networking abilities.
7. Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
8. Valid UAE driving license.
