Job Purpose
To oversee and manage the end-to-end procurement activities within the organization, with a primary focus on general procurement and the supervision of renovation and fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle for goods and services, including office supplies, equipment, and service contracts.
- Evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate contracts, and finalize purchase terms in alignment with company policies.
- Develop and maintain a robust network of reliable suppliers and service providers.
- Stay informed on market trends, price fluctuations, and emerging products or technologies to support informed and strategic procurement decisions.
- Oversee procurement activities related to renovation and fit-out projects, including sourcing materials, furnishings, and contractor services.
- Supervise on-site project activities to ensure alignment with design specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
- Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth and timely project execution.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, ensure quality control, and verify compliance with safety standards.
- Prepare and manage procurement and project budgets, ensuring financial discipline and cost efficiency.
- Generate and present regular reports on procurement progress, project milestones, and budget tracking.
- Continuously identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, and enhanced vendor performance.
- Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of purchases, contracts, vendor communications, and project documentation.
- Work closely with administration, finance, IT, and facilities teams to ensure procurement activities align with organizational operational needs.
- Support additional procurement and infrastructure-related initiatives as required.
Skills and Experience
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in procurement, including exposure to interior fit-outs or infrastructure projects.
- Established network and strong relationships with vendors and contractors within relevant industries.
- In-depth understanding of market trends, pricing dynamics, and vendor evaluation techniques.
- Excellent project supervision, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement/project management software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in Procurement (e.g., CIPM, CIPS, CPP) or Project Management (e.g., PMP) is highly desirable.
