About the Job
The Procurement Executive is responsible for sourcing materials, services, and contracts to meet project requirements. This role involves managing procurement processes, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring timely deliveries within budgetary constraints, ensuring OMNIYAT’s high-quality standards are met.
Day-to-Day Tasks
1. Procurement & Sourcing
- Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, services, and contracts aligned with project specs, deadlines, and budget.
- Evaluate supplier quotations, conduct market research, and support selection decisions.
- Participate in negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
2. Supplier & Contract Management
- Manage supplier relationships: ensure quality, resolve issues, and monitor performance.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, project timelines, and quality standards.
- Conduct site visits and factory inspections with suppliers, designers, and operators.
3. Delivery & Logistics Coordination
- Track production and delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival of goods.
- Coordinate logistics with site teams and hotel operators for smooth installations.
- Investigate delivery issues or complaints, inspect items, and manage resolution.
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain detailed procurement records (contracts, POs, delivery confirmations, etc.).
- Prepare production and procurement reports summarizing key metrics and performance.
- Escalate and document quality issues or delays, ensuring follow-up and closure.
5. Compliance & Support
- Ensure all procurement activities follow internal policies and legal regulations.
- Support the Procurement Director in meetings and reporting.
- Fill in for the Procurement Coordinator when needed to maintain workflow continuity.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement, ideally within the real estate development or construction industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Proactive and results-oriented.
- Team player with the ability to work independently when required
