Job summary

IRTH Group is seeking a qualified Procurement Engineer to join our construction team in Dubai. You will manage sourcing, evaluation, and procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor packages, ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include RFQ preparation, bid evaluations, and negotiations with subcontractors, coordinating with project, engineering, planning and commercial teams to align with schedules and contractual terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8 years of experience procuring subcontractor packages for high-rise buildings.
• Experience with RFQs, tender documents, and BOQs.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple packages and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing, evaluation and procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor packages.
• Prepare procurement comparison sheets evaluating pricing, technical compliance, delivery timelines, payment terms, and other relevant factors.
• Issue RFQs, tender documents, and BOQs to subcontractors.
• Identify, pre-qualify and evaluate subcontractors on technical and commercial criteria.
• Lead negotiations with subcontractors for cost-effective and timely awards.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Planning, and Commercial teams.
• Track procurement schedules and align with project timelines.
• Maintain procurement records, reports, and vendor databases.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and contracts.
