We specialize in the design and delivery of integrated Telecoms, Security, and Fire & Gas detection and suppression systems, serving both the Oil & Gas and Commercial sectors. Our extensive range of services encompasses Engineering, Design, Procurement, Project Management, Inspection, Logistics, Transport & Delivery, Commissioning, SAT & PAT, Training, and ongoing Maintenance.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement & Logistics Coordinator to join our team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this role, you will report directly to the Procurement Manager and assist in overseeing and coordinating procurement and logistics supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate has strong organizational abilities, problem-solving skills, and a passion for optimizing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and coordinating the procurement of goods and services essential for our operations. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of supply chain management, excellent negotiation skills, and a keen eye for cost savings and efficiency.
  • Manage and Coordinate Logistics Operations: Oversee the entire logistics process from order placement to delivery, ensuring efficient transportation and timely arrival of goods.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management: Build strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Order Processing: Oversee/Prepare and monitor the purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate ordering of goods and services according to organizational needs.
  • Order Tracking, Expediting and Follow-Up: Monitor purchase orders and shipments to ensure on-time delivery from suppliers and vendors.
  • Manage Lead Times: Track lead times and delivery schedules, identifying potential delays and proactively working to resolve them.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain to minimize impact on operations.
  • Monitor and Optimize Transportation Costs: Analyze costs related to shipping, warehousing, distribution, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including documentation for customs, safety, and legal standards.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or shortages, working with all relevant parties to provide timely solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as procurement, sales, and finance to align logistics with business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with applicable certifications.
  • 3-5 years of relevant Middle East experience in supply chain, preferably Telecom, ELV, or Security Systems.
  • Knowledge of Procurement/logistics ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
