Job description

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Coordinator to join our expanding team in Dubai! Successful candidates will be supporting the Procurement function by coordinating purchasing activities, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, maintaining accurate procurement records, and assisting in supplier communication and performance monitoring. Candidates should have experience in procurement, should have good communication skills, should have the tenacity to solve problems and be innovative, and thrive under pressure. Key responsibilities:

  • Communicate with suppliers for product availability, pricing, lead times, and order status
  • Generate documents to facilitate transportation.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and databases.
  • Assist in the evaluation and onboarding of new suppliers.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as clearing department, operations, logistics, & stores.
  • Co-operate with all members of the team and other functions as required to ensure proactive internal communications and effective teamwork.
  • Perform other tasks as required by Chef Middle East management.
  • Ensure purchases comply with company procurement policies and quality standards.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement status, supplier performance, and cost savings.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • College / University diploma or at least two years related experience.
  • Minimum one year related experience in Similar or Analytical field.
  • Must be familiar with any of the ERP systems, Microsoft Word and Excel.
