A leading company in manufacturing is looking for a Procurement Assistant in Dubai to support purchasing activities. The role requires detail-oriented skills to manage supplier relations, prepare purchase orders, and ensure compliance with procurement policies. Candidates should have a degree in Supply Chain or Business and relevant experience.
Universal Rubber Belt Manufacturing LLC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to support day-to-day purchasing activities and ensure the timely acquisition of materials and services required for manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with suppliers, internal departments, and the procurement team to streamline the purchasing process while maintaining accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in sourcing, comparing, and evaluating suppliers and vendors. • Prepare and issue purchase orders based on approved requisitions. • Follow up with suppliers on order status, delivery schedules, and lead times. • Maintain and update procurement records, databases, and documentation. • Support the procurement officer/manager in vendor management and price negotiations. • Coordinate with warehouse, production, and finance teams to ensure timely receipt and payment of goods. • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to avoid shortages or overstocking. • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. • Handle inquiries and resolve issues related to orders, invoices, or discrepancies. • Prepare periodic reports on procurement activities and supplier performance.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. • 1–3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing support role (preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment). • Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems (experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar is an advantage). • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. • Good communication and negotiation skills. • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
