Job Description

• Follow up on all purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order acknowledgments, production schedules, and shipping dates.
• Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders regarding delivery status and potential delays.
• Maintain and update expediting reports, delivery schedules, and records in ERP systems.
• Identify and escalate any potential delivery risks or supply chain bottlenecks.
• Coordinate logistics and transportation to expedite deliveries where required.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, international trade laws, and UAE regulations.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs, and other logistics partners to monitor shipments.
• Perform supplier performance evaluations and contribute to vendor development initiatives.
• Participate in procurement planning and review meetings.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in an expediting or procurement role, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
• Experience in industries such as oil & gas, construction, or manufacturing is an advantage.
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of international shipping terms (Incoterms), logistics, and customs procedures.
