Our client is looking for a Procurement and Contracts Officer to join their team based in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities will Include:
- Assist in the procurement of materials, services, and subcontractors for construction projects in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Support the contract lifecycle management, including drafting, reviewing, and tracking contract execution and renewals.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Conduct market research to identify reliable and cost-effective suppliers.
- Assist in tendering processes, bid evaluations, and supplier selection based on quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory requirements in all procurement and contract activities.
- Maintain procurement records, documentation, and reports for audit and compliance purposes.
- Assist in supplier performance evaluation and ensure that contractual obligations are met.
Who we’re looking for:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in procurement, supply chain or related field.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ working experience.
- Experience in managing large-scale procurement operations.
- Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier relationship management, and procurement analytics.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software’s.
- Professional certifications (e.g. CIPS, CSCP, PMP) is a plus.
- Familiarity of legal, regulatory and compliance requirements in procurement, supply chain.
- Good negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
