Job Purpose

As a Procurement Analyst, you will leverage advanced analytical modeling and data visualization techniques to transform complex spend data into actionable insights that drive strategic sourcing decisions and optimize costs across the organization. Your expertise in financial analysis and procurement metrics will directly support category managers and leadership through the creation of comprehensive dashboards, TCO models, and supplier performance tracking that enhance negotiation outcomes and maximize value delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Run complex analytical models and tools to support strategic procurement decisions by:
  • Analyzing category-level spend across suppliers, countries, and business units to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Building procurement dashboards (e.g., spend trends, pricing benchmarks, supplier performance) using Excel and Power BI.
  • Supporting sourcing and negotiation processes through data modeling and supplier comparisons.
  • Creating and maintaining Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models across multiple categories.
  • Collaborating with finance to monitor cost savings, forecast impacts, and budget variance.
  • Performing commodity and FX trend analysis to support supplier and contract decisions.
  • Coordinating with IT/BI to improve procurement data quality and automation.
  • Supporting the Procurement Director and Category Managers with ad hoc analysis and decision support.

Educational Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Analytics, Finance, or related fields
  • 2–3 years of experience in procurement, analytics, or commercial finance
  • Background in statistics, data science, or optimization preferred

Skills

  • Advanced Excel and data transformation capabilities
  • Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
  • ERP/Procurement systems experience (SAP, Oracle, Coupa preferred)
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to summarize complex data for executive decision-making
