Procurement Analyst

JOB PURPOSE:

Assist with delivery of procurement and sourcing strategies based on research, critical review and analysis to optimize value for money outcomes and meet stakeholder needs and expectations

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including preparing purchase orders and tracking deliveries.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best value while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and provide appropriate procurement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and procurement best practices.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and update ERP systems with purchase information.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or service.
• Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Assist in preparing reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:

• University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a relevant discipline

Experience

• Working experience in a fast-paced international working environment

• Demonstratable experience of working to and adhering to stringent policies and procedures

• Ability to manage under pressure

• Proficiency in ERP systems

• Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.
