Procurement Administrator-Monthly Salary 5-7K

Senior Recruitment & HR Business Partner

We seek a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Administrator with at least 2 years of experience, preferably within the event industry, to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be crucial in managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services essential for our events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, negotiate, and establish relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.

Procurement Process:

  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts.
  • Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery.

Cost Management:

  • Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Analyze and report on cost variances and procurement expenses.

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels.
  • Coordinate with the event team to forecast demand and plan inventory needs.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant information.

Coordination and Communication:

  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement operations.

Event Support:

  • Provide procurement support for event-specific requirements, including equipment, materials, and services.
  • Manage on-site procurement activities during events to ensure seamless execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the event industry.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
