The purpose of this role is to lead production and operations during shifts in a phosphate beneficiation plant. The site is greenfield, requiring guidance to achieve safe and smooth operation. The candidate must have hands-on competence to resolve problems swiftly with the team, without delays. Responsibilities include training team members, developing maintenance processes, and driving plant maintenance development during shifts.

The work location is in Jordan, and previous experience in similar environments and working with customer crews is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead process shift operations, including reactive and preventive maintenance
• Manage mechanical works, shutdown activities, and project tasks in a planned manner
• Perform maintenance on plant machinery such as flotation cells, pumps, pipes, and conveyors
• Ensure effective performance of maintenance personnel and shift foremen
• Motivate and train personnel for high performance and safety standards
• Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with HSEQ regulations
• Coordinate with other site teams to optimize plant performance
• Follow instructions and complete tasks on schedule
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the maintenance area
• Contribute to continuous improvement of site maintenance
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Technical Qualifications:

• Degree in chemical or metallurgy engineering

• Ability to plan and execute maintenance activities
