Job summary

ADNOC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Plant Operator to monitor and operate process plant facilities in line with SOPs and HSE standards. You will perform routine checks, manage chemical batches, and coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Assuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance, you will follow permits, monitor contractor activities, and contribute to KPI reporting while working within an industrial oil and gas setting.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma in relevant field or Secondary School Certificate.
• 4 years of experience in Plant Operations within a large industrial plant, in the Oil and Gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor process plant and facilities in the assigned area as per operating procedures and Company’s HSE standards.
• Carry out assigned Operational work safely to assigned standards in line with SOPs.
• Carry out routine checks on equipment for abnormalities and coordinate for servicing.
• Adjust speeds, temperatures, pressures and flow rates to ensure proper shutdown/start-up operations.
• Prepare plant/equipment for maintenance in synchronization with other equipment.
• Receive chemicals, maintain stock/consumption register and prepare batches following procedures and HSE rules.
• Operate machinery safely and efficiently per Company standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental policies and controls.
• Obtain work permits and monitor Contractors activities for safety adherence.
• Perform duties as Auxiliary Fireman or Site Safety Officer during emergencies as required.
• Communicate instructions from Supervisor to carry out duties efficiently and safely.
• Prepare KPI checklists for management.
