The Process/Project Engineer (Pre-Sales & Execution), reporting to the Director of Service, is responsible for producing designs, technical and commercial proposals, and supporting project execution from detailed designs through commissioning. The engineer will also manage small projects independently or jointly with senior engineers, centers of competence, or project managers.

• Liaise with sales and senior engineering teams to translate client requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform process, equipment, and piping sizing.
• Develop enquiry stage P&IDs.
• Develop key assumptions, execution plans, and scope boundaries.
• Cost equipment and component supply.
• Review enquiry documents with multiple functions and seek clarifications as needed.
• Support various functions in preparing scope and costings.
• Consolidate costs and prepare overall cost calculations.
• Develop comprehensive execution plans and timelines.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals aligned with defined scopes of supply.
• Maintain proposal documentation according to company procedures and standards.
• Report daily to the Service Director.
• Support project managers and senior engineers in project activities.
• Assist with change control and scope variations.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to produce designs for P&IDs, equipment lists, datasheets, and process descriptions.
• Request quotations from suppliers, review bids, and clarify as needed.
• Perform supplier bid analysis and recommend vendors.
• Review design documents with senior engineers.
• Participate in commissioning, testing, and initial production support.
• Maintain project documentation to ensure compliance with standards.
• Seek guidance from project managers and senior engineers when unsure.

This role involves extensive travel, primarily in the Middle East, with occasional worldwide travel.
