Process Engineer

Basic Functions:

• Carry out process engineering work on assigned projects under the supervision of the Lead Process Engineer.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Typically 10-15 years of experience in oil and gas, preferably with offshore wellhead/process platform experience.
• Knowledge of process engineering design, including understanding process descriptions, data sheets, PFDs, and P&IDs.
• Perform process simulations using Hysys / Unisim and flare load calculations with Aspen Flarenet.
• Familiarize with the scope of work, monitor changes, and raise change notifications as needed.
• Coordinate with PMT and other discipline engineers as directed by the Lead Engineer.
• Prepare and check key deliverables such as:

• Process simulations, heat and material balances.
• Process design basis documentation.
• Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Safety charts and process safeguarding diagrams.
• Operating philosophy and manuals.
• Equipment and instrument datasheets.
• Equipment and line lists.
• Flare radiation and dispersion calculations.
• Depressurization and flare network studies.
• Equipment and line sizing calculations.
• Fluid lists.

Assist the Lead Process Engineer in IDC activities and liaise with drafting teams for drawing development.
