Role Name: Process Design Engineer

Background: Wastewater / Water Treatment; Chemical/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering graduate.

Nationality: No Indians. Can consider other nationalities (except: Irani, Iraqi, Syrian, Algerian, Palestinian, Sudanese, Kenyan).

Gender: Open (females with head scarf/burqa will not be considered).

Experience: Minimum 10 years in the field as Process Engineer, with at least 7 years in GCC / Middle East projects, especially in Reverse Osmosis Desalination plants, Water / Wastewater treatment & recycling systems, and pumping stations.

Responsibilities:

• Process & Mechanical design of Process Equipment (MBR, MBBR, Extended aeration, Effluent treatment plant, Grey water Treatment, Reverse Osmosis, Ultra filtration, Demineralization, and water softening).
• Anaerobic reactor USAB.
• Non-Biodegradable COD removal.
• Process Effluent Treatment systems (Dairy industry, Leather tanning, Dye, Food & Beverage, Produced water).
• Trickling filter technology.
• Electro coagulation.
• Zero liquid discharge.
• Industrial and Oil & Gas Effluent treatment.
• Oil separation (API, CPI, DAF, IGF, Coalescer filter).
• AOP (Advanced Oxidation Process) including O3, H2O2, and both.
• Recommended Chemical injection systems (Cl2 Gas, Chlorine dioxide, Electro chlorination).
• Sludge treatment.
• Prepare and/or check process calculations; assist in providing industries with effective, responsive, and safe solutions.
• Daily Key Role: Hydraulics and Mechanical design.
• Preparation of Process flow diagram, Mass balance diagram, and P&ID.
• Preparation and reviewing of engineering drawings.
• Selection of electromechanical equipment & valves.
• Preparation of equipment datasheets.
• Coordinating projects.
• Preparing P&ID based on offers by coordinating with Draftsman.
• Selection of pump and Equipment based on P&ID and process design.
• Preparing BOQ of the project.
• Preparing Equipment GA drawing by coordinating with Draftsman.
• Preparing Equipment layout by coordinating with Draftsman.
• Technical Coordination with Project Engineer.
• Preparing Control philosophy.
• Preparation of CRS sheet and reply for Client comments.
• Technical Coordination with draftsman for the preparation of Project drawing.

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering from an accredited University.

Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken, with good capability in oral and written communication skills.

Computer skills and the ability to utilize design software are mandatory.

Possess strong technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness.
