Job summary

Reach Group is seeking a proactive Network & Information Security Engineer to support enterprise network operations and cybersecurity initiatives in the UAE. The role focuses on threat monitoring, incident response, and governance within a dynamic enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of networking and security experience, familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, SIEM platforms, and vulnerability management, and a strong foundation in networking principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in networking, information security, or a related IT discipline.
• Good knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals, routing, switching, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, SIEM platforms, and security monitoring tools.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and security best practices.
• Knowledge of security frameworks, governance practices, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with endpoint protection, antivirus, and vulnerability management solutions.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance, availability, and cybersecurity events across the enterprise.
• Maintain firewalls, VPN gateways, routers, switches, and related security infrastructure.
• Investigate security alerts and assist with incident response and remediation.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and track remediation through patch management.
• Support endpoint protection and device protection initiatives.
• Review and analyze security logs to identify anomalies and threats.
• Prepare security reports, audit documentation, and operational records.
• Assist in implementing cybersecurity policies and security controls.
• Support ISO 27001 compliance initiatives and security audits.
• Monitor SIEM platforms and security tools to identify incidents.
• Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen infrastructure security and resilience.
• Participate in risk assessments and recommend security improvements.
