Job summary

Dubai Real Estate in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Private Equity Associate to support investment sourcing, due diligence, financial analysis, portfolio management, and value creation initiatives. You will work closely with investment professionals, senior leadership, portfolio companies, advisors, and external stakeholders to evaluate opportunities and maximize long-term returns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis skills.
  • Experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, M&A, or related roles.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong commercial judgment and ability to evaluate risks and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, screen, and evaluate potential private equity investment opportunities.
  • Conduct detailed financial, commercial, operational, and market analysis of prospective investments.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, forecasts, and investment cases.
  • Perform company, industry, competitor, and market research to support investment decisions.
  • Support due diligence activities across financial, commercial, operational, legal, tax, and strategic areas.
  • Analyze historical financial performance, revenue growth, margins, cash flow, capital structure, and business fundamentals.
  • Evaluate investment returns, including IRR, MOIC, cash-on-cash returns, and downside scenarios.
  • Prepare investment memoranda, committee presentations, valuation reports, and transaction materials.
  • Support deal structuring, transaction negotiations, financing analysis, and execution activities.
  • Coordinate with investment banks, legal advisors, accountants, consultants, management teams, and other external advisors.
  • Monitor portfolio company performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability, growth, operational efficiency, and enterprise value.
  • Develop portfolio company value creation plans and track key performance indicators.
  • Conduct periodic portfolio reviews, financial analysis, and investment performance assessments.
  • Support exit planning, including strategic sales, secondary transactions, recapitalizations, and other liquidity events.
  • Monitor market conditions, industry trends, valuation multiples, and competitive developments.
  • Maintain accurate investment documentation, databases, models, and transaction records.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior investment professionals.

We’re Hiring: Private Equity Associate

Level: Mid-Level to Senior

We are seeking a highly analytical, commercially minded, and investment-focused Private Equity Associate to support investment sourcing, due diligence, financial analysis, portfolio management, and value creation initiatives. This role will work closely with investment professionals, senior leadership, portfolio companies, advisors, and external stakeholders to evaluate investment opportunities and maximize long-term returns.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Proven experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, M&A, or a related investment role.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow analysis, capital structures, and corporate finance.
  • Experience with valuation methodologies including DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions, and LBO analysis.
  • Strong understanding of private equity investment processes, due diligence, deal execution, and portfolio management.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong commercial judgment and ability to evaluate investment risks and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with financial databases, market intelligence platforms, or investment research tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, professional integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • CFA, CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA, or other relevant professional qualifications are an advantage.
