As part of their expanding private equity platform, they are seeking a high-calibre Associate to join their team and play a key role in evaluating new investments and supporting active portfolio management.

Job Description

  • Conduct financial analysis, valuation modelling (DCF, LBO, comparables), and due diligence for new investment opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing investment committee presentations and transaction materials.
  • Support execution of transactions including deal structuring, negotiation, and coordination with legal and financial advisors.
  • Monitor existing portfolio companies, including tracking performance, financial reporting, and identifying value creation initiatives.
  • Conduct industry research and stay informed on relevant market trends to support investment theses.
  • Build relationships with external stakeholders including advisors, bankers, and industry experts.

The Successful Applicant

  • 2-3 years of full-time experience in M&A at a bulge bracket investment bank.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of private equity principles.
  • Demonstrated transaction experience across sectors and geographies.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university; CFA or MBA is a plus but not required.
  • Open to candidates currently based in the UAE or those willing to relocate from the UK, Europe, or APAC.
