Position Overview: The Relationship Manager is the primary client contact for Deutsche Bank Private Bank's wealth management solutions. Responsibilities include acquiring new clients and assets, growing existing relationships, and ensuring a high-standard client experience. The role involves collaboration with Investment Managers and other teams to deliver comprehensive wealth solutions.

Your key responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain holistic client relationships
  2. Handle client complaints as the first point of contact
  3. Develop new business with existing and new clients, focusing on prospecting and long-term relationship building
  4. Collaborate with Investment Managers and other partners to deepen client relationships
  5. Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and stay informed about market initiatives
  6. Identify client lending and financing needs and involve specialists
  7. Perform market analysis to identify new opportunities
  8. Manage AML responsibilities, including KYC and transaction monitoring
  9. Own the suitability and appropriateness assessments for client investments where applicable
  10. Participate in client events, PR, and marketing activities
  11. Maintain team operational rhythms and demonstrate role-model behavior
  12. Work with other functions to deliver Deutsche Bank’s value proposition
  13. Support business growth while adhering to legal and ethical standards

Your skills and experience:

  • 7 / 10 / 15+ years of relevant wealth management experience for VP / Director / MD roles
  • Solid client network in the target market, especially Non-Resident Indians
  • Fluency in English and relevant local languages
  • Attention to detail in strategy and execution
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong investment knowledge
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., RDR, MiFID II)
  • Professional integrity and a self-starter attitude
  • Willingness to develop staff, such as analysts
  • Advanced degrees (CFA, MBA) are a plus
