Confidential Company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced GIS leader to supervise and advance spatial data management across multiple projects. You will oversee map creation, LiDAR coordination, and GIS reporting, guiding a team through complex datasets and diverse stakeholders.

The role requires a master's degree in geospatial sciences, 8+ years in GIS with leadership, and professional certification. Strong communication and international project experience are valued.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Geography, Geospatial Sciences, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive GIS experience with leadership in large projects.
• Professional GIS certification (e.g., GISP or ESRI).
• Experience leading teams in urban planning, environmental science, or transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise spatial data for geographic statistics to incorporate into documents and reports.
• Supervise to Create maps and graphs, using GIS software and related equipment.
• Supervise Linear Referencing task.
• Supervise Right of Way Asset capturing task
• Coordinate with Town Planning staff for LiDAR survey
• Adequate Knowledge of FME safe software.
• Adequate Knowledge of ArcGIS & GeoMedia software.
• Knowledge of LIDAR data processing and feature extraction
• Coordinate with AACM and attend all required meetings
• Prepare and finalize all required GIS reports
• Supervise Design and update database, applying additional knowledge of spatial feature representations.
• Supervise Analyze geographic relationships among varying types of data.
• Prepare metadata and other documentation.
• Supervise Operate and maintain GIS system hardware, software, plotter, digitizer, color printer and video camera.
• Present information to the Department and answer questions.

• Experience in a leadership role within industries such as urban planning, environmental science, or transportation.
• Preference for candidates with experience in international projects or organizations, promoting a diverse perspective.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders from technical experts to executives.
