Job summary

iSpatial Techno Solutions is seeking a seasoned GIS Project Manager to lead end-to-end initiatives using PMI practices. The role oversees charters, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder comms while coordinating GIS deployments and data migration across platforms.

Candidates should hold a PMP and a Bachelor's in a related field, with strong GIS and ArcGIS experience. The position offers flexible working arrangements, a competitive package, and a path for professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • PMP certification is required.
  • Strong understanding of GIS concepts, spatial data models and geodatabases.
  • Experience with ESRI ArcGIS (Enterprise, Pro, Online) or similar platforms.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end GIS project lifecycle using PMI best practices (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure).
  • Develop project charters, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and communication plans.
  • Manage scope, timelines, cost, quality, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Track project performance using KPIs and prepare status reports for leadership.
  • Oversee design, development, and deployment of GIS solutions (ArcGIS, web GIS, spatial databases).
  • Coordinate spatial data collection, analysis, migration, and integration.
  • Ensure data quality, metadata standards, and compliance with organizational GIS policies.
  • Collaborate with GIS analysts, developers, data engineers, and IT teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Mentor project team members and promote best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
  • Support procurement processes, RFPs, and contract management.
