AESG is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer in Dubai to provide strategic technical leadership for major building projects. You will set technical direction, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and act as the senior technical authority to ensure quality and delivery excellence.

You will mentor engineers, oversee design reviews, and drive innovative, BIM-enabled workflows while safeguarding HSE and client objectives across projects in the region.

Qualificações

• Experience in delivering complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong background in concrete, steel, and advanced structural analysis.
• Chartered or equivalent professional registration preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead structural engineering for major projects from concept to completion.

Job Purpose

As a Principal Structural Engineer at AESG you will provide strategic technical leadership and oversight for major/complex building projects. The role sets technical direction, leads multidisciplinary coordination, acts as the senior technical authority for projects, and supports innovation, quality assurance, and business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the structural engineering function for major projects from concept through completion.
• Define project technical strategies aligned with client objectives, regulations, and delivery requirements.
• Review and approve complex structural designs, calculations, and specifications.
• Act as the primary technical authority in client and project meetings.
• Provide expert mentorship to senior engineers, engineers, graduates, and BIM teams.
• Oversee quality assurance, technical audits, compliance checks, and design reviews.
• Drive innovation in structural engineering, including advanced analysis, BIM-enabled workflows, and parametric/digital tools.
• Manage relationships with clients, contractors, authorities, and key stakeholders.
• Support technical proposals, presentations, and pursuit activity for new work.
• Ensure strong HSE and quality culture across projects.

Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• 12-15 years of relevant experience.
• Strong background in concrete, steel, and advanced structural analysis.
• Demonstrated experience delivering complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong business acumen and ability to contribute to growth initiatives.
• Chartered or equivalent professional registration preferred.
