Join the Architecture team to propel global aviation technology into the future! As architects, we bridge ambitious business goals with technological solutions, working closely with business units to inspire and implement fit-for-purpose solutions. Our projects range from incremental improvements to strategic overhauls across global operations. We utilize modern technology stacks such as ReactJS, NodeJS, Java Microservices, Self-Service Integrations, and Open APIs, underpinned by DevSecOps, Cloud, and modern engineering practices.

As a Principal Solutions Architect - GenAI & IXR, you will lead architecture design and governance across iXR and GenAI platforms, owning integration blueprints, modernization strategies, and ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with enterprise standards.

You will:

1. Define and govern new IT standards, guidelines, and practices, assessing the impact of emerging technologies and maintaining the IT estate in line with these standards.
2. Scout market trends and technology advancements, determine their relevance to our strategy, and lead Proof of Concepts to demonstrate business value.
3. Lead solution architecture development for new initiatives and system enhancements, ensuring quality and alignment with agile practices.
4. Review and advise on solution designs, guiding standards compliance and architectural best practices.
5. Provide architecture leadership to development teams, coordinating with peer architects and engineering teams.
6. Manage and mentor Solutions Architects and senior engineers, leading a virtual team of experts and managers.
7. Maintain the architecture roadmap, prioritize technical enablers, and oversee modernization activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT architecture.
• Technical leadership experience with architects and senior developers.
• Deep understanding of technologies such as Java, Cloud, AI/ML, Microservices, and more.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and industry-standard modeling techniques.
• Experience with architecture patterns like microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native applications.
