Job summary

PER is seeking a senior principal to join our product management team within client solutions, focused on private markets fundraising and investor relations. The role sits at the centre of investment, fundraising and operations to support launches, messaging and documentation for institutional investors.

You will lead complex RFPs/DDQs, oversee fundraising workstreams, and collaborate with senior professionals to drive successful product initiatives.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in private markets product management, client solutions or fundraising support.
• Strong track record in institutional fundraising processes and RFPs/DDQs.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of investor due diligence and complex RFPs across private market strategies.
• Oversee fundraising workstreams including investor presentations, marketing materials and fund documentation.
• Collaborate with senior investment and fundraising teams to develop product messaging for institutional investors.
• Coordinate and execute new fund launches, bespoke mandates and SMA onboarding.
• Develop and improve processes around product governance, CRM and fundraising reporting.
• Act as a senior point of contact across Investment, client solutions, legal, compliance and operations.
• Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members and manage workloads.

About our client

We are working with a leading global fund that is looking to add a principal / senior principal to its product management team within client solutions. The role will sit at the centre of the firm’s investment, fundraising and operational teams, supporting the management and launch of investment products across the platform.

What the job involves

• Leading the delivery of RFPs, DDQs and complex investor due diligence processes across multiple private market strategies
• Overseeing fundraising workstreams, including investor presentations, marketing materials, data rooms and fund documentation
• Working closely with senior investment professionals and fundraising teams to develop product messaging and materials for institutional investors
• Managing the coordination and execution of new fund launches, bespoke mandates and SMA onboarding
• Developing and improving processes around product governance, CRM systems, investor information and fundraising reporting
• Acting as a senior point of contact across Investment, client solutions, legal, compliance and operations to ensure effective delivery of projects
• Providing guidance and oversight to junior team members, managing workloads and maintaining high standards across deliverables

Who we are looking for

• Significant experience in private markets product management, client solutions, investor relations or fundraising support, ideally from a leading alternative investment manager
• Strong track record of managing institutional fundraising processes, including complex RFPs, DDQs, investor due diligence and fund launches
• Good understanding of private market strategies, including private equity, private credit, secondaries or real assets
• Experience working with institutional investors and translating investment strategies into clear, effective marketing and fundraising materials
• Exposure to SMAs, bespoke mandates, fund structuring or co-investment syndications would be advantageous
• Proven ability to lead projects, manage junior colleagues and coordinate effectively with senior stakeholders
• Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach
