Job summary

AMD CyberSec in Dubai invites a Principal Security Architect to lead security engineering across the client software development lifecycle, ensuring secure design and architecture and driving remediation with engineering teams.

You will mentor others, brief executive leadership, and work with external vendors to implement security solutions while advancing threat modeling, IAM, cryptography, and container security.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and implementing security in architecture and code.
• 10+ years with product security remediation for externally identified threats.
• Experience with threat modeling and mitigating authentication, authorization, network segmentation, encryption, container config.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security controls (IAM, KMS, VPC, Security Groups, AWS Inspector, GuardDuty, SCPs).
• Experience with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, CVSS, CWE.
• Proficiency in authentication/authorization, identity and access management, OAuth/OpenID Connect.
• Embedded software security knowledge; cryptography and PKI.
• Solid TCP/IP understanding.
• Proven leadership, written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Own security engineering requirements and secure design reviews.
• Drive root-cause analyses to prevent post-release risks.
• Guide external technology providers and security vendors.
• Collaborate with executives and engineering partners to align security goals.
• Elevate security capabilities and reduce attack surface across platforms.
• Mentor teams and shape training curriculum for security awareness.
