Job Purpose
Develop the Long Term Asset Management (LTAM) plan for the selected major asset at BNPP and ensure compliance with the applicable procedures in Nawah. Conduct necessary coordination with other concerned departments within Nawah to gather required inputs for the LTAM plan and keep it up to date. Provide technical support as needed for the assigned major assets to other departments.
Key Activities, Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Develop LTAM plan: Create and update the long-term asset management plan for assigned major assets, incorporating necessary inputs.
- Coordinate with departments: Collaborate with Nawah departments to gather inputs and ensure alignment.
- Technical support: Provide support for emerging issues related to major assets.
- Asset management: Manage assets at BNPP to ensure high reliability and good material condition.
- Outage planning: Ensure outage scope aligns with schedules in coordination with plant engineering and outage management.
- Asset assessment: Conduct annual condition assessments of assets in a component health format.
- GRID activities: Perform activities related to interface with switchyard maintenance and planning as assigned.
Training
- Attend training courses to acquire necessary skills and knowledge.
- Provide feedback on training effectiveness.
- Develop and deliver training as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on assigned assets.
Health, Safety, Security, and Business Continuity
- Follow all relevant health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance and safety.
- Apply security policies to ensure security of personnel and assets.
- Adhere to Business Continuity policies to ensure minimal disruption during incidents.
The incumbent is expected to perform standard activities as per attachments 4 & 5 in the Job Description procedure related to Health, Safety and Environment, Security, Business Continuity, People Management, and Quality Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related Science.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in Nuclear Power Plant engineering.
- Master's Degree in Engineering or related Science/MBA and/or SRO certification of previous license holder.
- Experience with APR-1400 or APR-1000 maintenance or engineering.
