Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a highly experienced Principal, Geoscience & Petroleum, Disciplinary Engineering and Science in the UAE to lead multidisciplinary teams in subsurface evaluations, asset assessments and due diligence for upstream energy assets.

The role combines technical leadership with strategic advisory across commercial and technical domains, guiding projects from inception through delivery while ensuring high quality, schedules, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Geophysics, Geoscience, Earth Sciences, Petroleum Geoscience, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in oil and gas, energy consulting, or upstream petroleum industry.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex subsurface studies.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated subsurface evaluations using geophysical, geological, petrophysical, reservoir and production data.
• Oversee data integration of seismic, well and field performance to assess asset value.
• Lead technical due diligence for M&A, farm-ins/out, investments, financing and asset divestments.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage project scopes, budgets and schedules.
• Support client workshops, proposals and business development efforts.
