Job description

We are looking for a Principal Engineer Sealine to join our Hub Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Mission :

• Perform and/or supervise the correct execution of sealine design and installation analysis.
• Learn and improve the knowledge and use of available software for pipeline design and installation analysis.
• Enhance capabilities in design and analysis.

Tasks :

The Engineer executes activities within their area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with QA/QC and HSE requirements.

Tasks include :

Act as Project Specialist Leader (PSL) or Project Specialist (PS) for Sealine Design or Sealine Installation Analysis :

1. Perform all discipline analyses, prepare technical reports, specifications, and drawings required for pipeline system design and relevant components.
2. Assist with the selection of laying spread/methods, perform installation design analysis, and define operational installation limits.
3. Prepare technical specifications and requisitions for material and services purchasing.
4. Oversee bid evaluation and procurement phases.
5. Ensure adequate technical documentation and contribute to updating company standards.
6. Review client’s technical documentation and requirements.
7. Prepare technical qualifications and contribute to technical proposals during bidding for EPCI and T&I contracts.
8. Contribute to updating and improving department tools for Sealine Engineering.
9. Maintain excellence in Sealine Engineering.
10. Contribute to defining, implementing, and improving the department’s quality system.
11. Standardize and define procedures for the department’s working processes.
