Wood is recruiting for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join its UAE Business Unit, focusing on managing engineering and design resource requirements for a Major Onshore Brownfield Project in Dubai, UAE.

This role is onsite in Dubai with possible business travel to Iraq as needed.

Expected Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 15-20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably on Iraq Brownfield projects
• Experience with 132 KV High Voltage systems
• Strong knowledge of electrical system design and analysis fundamentals
• Familiarity with international codes and standards
• Proficiency with electrical design software, including Smartplant
• Experience in HAZID, HAZOP, and IPF/SIL Classification studies
• Experience in Concept Selection and FEED studies
