As a Principal Business Development (BD) Manager, MEGS based in KSA, you will own the adoption, utilization, and line of business revenue for AWS MEGS customers. You will gather customer and industry requirements and engage with AWS product teams to innovate, develop, and deliver AWS and AWS Partner offerings. AWS Principal BD Managers are technically savvy specialists responsible for identifying opportunities to innovate with customers, influencing the AWS service and solutions roadmap, and driving revenue for specific AWS services and solution areas. You will develop and implement account plans and sales strategies for new and existing customers and partners, participate in AWS field enablement activities, and identify gaps in AWS products or features based on customer insights, partnering with internal teams to win strategic workloads and drive revenue. You will have the opportunity to shape and deliver strategy for MEGS within the MENAT region.

The ideal candidate will possess a business background enabling effective interaction with CxO / VP / Director level and line of business teams, along with a strong technical understanding to engage with CTOs and technical stakeholders. They should think strategically and analytically, communicate compelling value propositions, and have a passion for emerging technologies and the MEGS industry. Familiarity with MEGS industry vernacular and business processes is preferred.

The AWS Industries team is committed to helping industry customers enable their digital transformation journeys, focusing on business outcomes and industry-specific use cases, including product development, sales, delivery, and partnerships.

Key job responsibilities

  • Establish strategic, technical, and business relationships with regional customers and partners to drive cloud adoption
  • Educate and evangelize the MEGS ecosystem on technical matters and growth opportunities leveraging AWS services and programs
  • Contribute to AWS market and technical strategy as a member of the global MEGS team
  • Prepare and deliver data-driven business reviews to senior management on progress, achievements, and challenges
  • Partner with regional Sales Leaders and MEGS Account Managers for strategic planning and account development
  • Execute strategic initiatives collaboratively with global stakeholders
  • Travel as required

A day in the life

You will drive AWS adoption and revenue in the MEGS vertical by collaborating with marketing, account teams, solutions architects, and partners. Responsibilities include onboarding customers to AWS, developing market intelligence, accelerating workload migrations, and supporting enterprise transformation. Regular customer engagement and performance reporting are key aspects of the role.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of experience developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements
