Opportunity: Business Development Manager, Digital Services at UOP

UOP is revolutionising its Service organisation to drive increased value for our customers and Honeywell UOP through digital services. We are seeking a Business Development Manager, Digital Services, to join our EATCA Service Team during an exciting growth phase. As a key member of the Service Account team, you will leverage your business development, sales experience, and technical knowledge to develop Outcome-Based Business Model offerings for UOP's refining industry customers. Your role will involve driving value-based offerings and supporting account teams in selling these solutions. The position is based in UOP’s Abu Dhabi Office, UAE.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify new sales opportunities by analyzing customer pain points and develop scalable Outcome-Based Business Model (OBBM) Performance Solutions to meet key customer needs.
  2. Collaborate with other UOP functions to incorporate Core and Digital Service offering bundles, utilizing UOP's full portfolio of products and services.
  3. Provide consultative support and develop compelling value propositions for solutions.
  4. Work seamlessly across functions, including Technical Service, Engineering, CSO Account Managers, and Service Managers.
  5. Coordinate with the Digital team to understand and promote the latest offerings to maximize revenue opportunities in the region.
  6. Develop technical proposals and, together with the Business Account Team, formulate commercial strategies and proposals to win business, leveraging industry and customer insights.
  7. Achieve financial targets for MENA digital services.
  8. Collaborate with Service and Sales Managers to build a robust pipeline for each customer site in the region.
  9. Identify opportunities for customer value creation through proactive lead generation, including prospecting for new units, addressing bottlenecks, and promoting performance improvements via Connected solutions.
  10. Manage sales forecasts to ensure accuracy and provide monthly summaries to the LST VP.
Qualifications

You Must Have

  • 15-20 years of experience in the refining industry.
  • Proven success in business development, sales, or sales support roles with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Willingness and ability to travel at least 30%.
