Talents Tide is seeking a Principal Beach Planning Specialist to lead coastal and waterfront development strategies for a prestigious Dubai Government Entity. The role demands 10+ years in master planning, design, and development of beach, waterfront, and public spaces, delivering sustainable, people-centric destinations.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, review proposals, and ensure regulatory alignment while advancing high-quality, iconic projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience in coastal development, waterfront master planning, architecture, urban design, or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, or related discipline.
• Master's degree in Master Planning, Urban Design, Coastal Development, or related field preferred.
• PMP certification is an advantage.
• Native-level English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of coastal and waterfront development strategies.
• Drive ideation, thematic concepts, design visions, and place-making strategies.
• Lead planning and design of public spaces, waterfront environments, infrastructure, and coastal facilities.
• Integrate public-space activation, identity, functionality, and user-experience into strategies.
• Review and guide design proposals to meet planning, regulatory, and development requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary consultants, design teams, project stakeholders, and government entities.
• Monitor project implementation and provide strategic direction to maintain design intent and quality.
• Support PMO practices, project governance, stakeholder coordination, and delivery oversight.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure high standards of sustainability and placemaking.

The successful candidate will bring 10+ years of experience in master planning, design, and development of beach, waterfront, coastal, and public realm environments, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality, sustainable and people-centric destinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of comprehensive coastal and waterfront development strategies.


• Drive ideation, thematic concepts, design visions, and place-making strategies.


• Lead the planning and design of public spaces, waterfront environments, infrastructure, and coastal facilities.


• Integrate public-space activation, identity, functionality, and user-experience principles into development strategies.


• Review and guide design proposals, ensuring alignment with planning, regulatory, and development requirements.


• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary consultants, design teams, project stakeholders, and government entities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience in coastal development, waterfront master planning, architecture, urban design, or related fields.

• Master's degree in Master Planning, Urban Design, Coastal Development, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience working on large-scale waterfront, beach, public realm, or coastal development projects is highly desirable.


• PMP certification is an advantage.
