AtkinsRealis is seeking a Principal Architect based in Dubai, UAE, for an exciting Theme Park project.

Responsibilities

1. Lead front-end design work and planning.
2. Liaise with clients, employers, and stakeholders.
3. Supervise concept, preliminary, and detailed design documentation.
4. Oversee external 3D visualizers.
5. Prepare and deliver presentations.
6. Assist with bid proposals and presentations.
7. Prepare and present feasibility reports and design proposals to clients.
8. Involvement with Value Engineering.
9. Supervise applications for planning and building control approvals.
10. Oversee tender document preparation for contracts.
11. Conduct site inspections and provide construction support.
12. Resolve issues arising during construction.
13. Manage project budgets and deadlines.
14. Coordinate with contractors and professionals.
15. Control projects from inception to completion.
16. Provide technical management to a team.

Candidates should have relevant senior-level experience on large mixed-use projects, be qualified architects with at least 10 years post-qualification experience (preferably registered in the UK, USA, or Australia), and possess design & new build experience. A good understanding of ME Building Codes, team management, client and stakeholder engagement, site experience, design and build experience, and Middle East experience is essential. Skills in SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, LEED AP certification, and current residence in KSA are required.
