Job summary

PACE Modern British School in Dubai is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a native English speaker with a strong command of the British National Curriculum and at least 1 year of teaching experience.

The successful applicant will plan, deliver engaging lessons, differentiate for all learners, assess progress, and maintain records. A B.Ed./PGCE with QTS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) / PGCE, QTS preferred.
• Native English speaker (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, or South Africa).
• 1+ year of relevant teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the British National Curriculum
• Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including SEN students
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic performance
• Collaborate with colleagues, Heads of Year, and Senior Leadership on curriculum planning
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents regarding student progress
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, and CPD sessions
• Uphold KHDA and school safeguarding policies at all times
