Job description

Job Title: Primary Teacher

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (Private School)

Start Date: August 2025

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to primary school students, fostering a stimulating and engaging learning environment. If you are passionate about education, possess a calm and positive demeanor, and enjoy working with young learners, we would like to meet you. UAE experience is preferable.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare classroom and course materials to facilitate effective instruction for primary school students.
  • Assign homework and exams and grade students' assessments to monitor progress and comprehension.
  • Develop individualized educational plans for students with special requirements such as learning disabilities to ensure inclusive learning experiences.
  • Stay updated on new teaching methods and implement research-based strategies in the classroom.
  • Create a supportive and positive classroom environment conducive to learning and student engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades for reporting purposes.
  • Handle classroom crises effectively and with composure, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
  • Inform parents about student progress and collaborate with them and other educational staff to support student learning and development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience within the UK National Curriculum.
  • Employment stability is required.
  • Native English speaker.
  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or another relevant subject along with a valid teaching license or a recognized teaching qualification (such as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education - PGCE) is essential.
