Job description

We are recruitingPrimaryArt specialiststo supplement our existing Primary team due to an unprecedented number of admissions.

Our school based in Abu Dhabi and is a popular and over-subscribed ENC School.

On average each year group in the Primary section will have seven classes in 2024/25 as they expand their provision to cater for up to 2500 FS1 to Y13 students representing more than 16 nationalities next year.

This school follows the 2014 National Curriculum of England and the updated 2020 Development Matters Framework in EYFS. The school uses both GL CAT4 and GL Progress tests for Year 4 to 10. In addition, the school offers a range of GCSE, iGCSE, iAS and iA Levels from Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel exam boards for their older students. They plan to introduce a range of BTEC qualifications to better personalise pathways for our students from September 2024.

Please note your documents must be attested for the UAE prior to arrival. You must be able to provide references from your two most recent employers on request and, if successful, you must be able to submit a police clearance certificate from your most recent country of residence that is no more than 3 months old (ACRO or DBS from the UK) .

We prefer the candidates have the teaching qualifications or have teaching experience gained in the UK or Ireland, with one the following sets of qualifications:

• An Internationally recognised Bachelor's Degree in Education specialising in Art with QTS or equivalent.

or

• An Internationally recognised Bachelor's Degree in any subject and an internationally recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE or PGDE in Art with QTS or equivalent.

or

• An Internationally recognised Bachelor's Degree in an aspect of Art with QTS or equivalent.

2 years' experience would be a plus, we also welcome ECTs with 0 or 1 year of experience.

PACKAGE

Our remuneration package for overseas UK qualified appointments includes:

• Two-year contract and visa (renewable)

• Tax-free salary; the salary will increase with more experience

• One way flight at the start & end of the contract if joining from outside the UAE
