Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks a pricing analytics and revenue management analyst to build the analytical engine across GCC and India. You will convert customer, shipment, revenue and margin data into actionable pricing insight and practical MVPs within the MS Office environment.

The role focuses on automating recurring analyses, delivering fact-based recommendations, and supporting strategic pricing decisions for improved price realization and profitability across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline.
• Typically 3–6 years of pricing analytics or revenue management experience.
• Experience analyzing large transactional datasets and turning insights into recommendations.
• Fluent business English; ability to present analytical conclusions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced-to-expert Microsoft Excel with PivotTables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, dynamic arrays.
• Strong Power Query capability for data ingestion, cleaning and transformation.
• Knowledge of Excel Data Model/Power Pivot and basic DAX desirable.
• SQL knowledge is a strong advantage; Python or R is nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

• Analyze datasets to identify price dispersion, profitability gaps, leakage and repricing opportunities.
• Develop repeatable views of yield, price realization, customer and lane economics, surcharge performance and trends.
• Translate analysis into prioritized actions, quantified opportunities and concise recommendations.
• Build and maintain an analytical cockpit for annual price review covering revenue targets and realized uplift.
• Create customer-level target models using profitability, contract history and other factors.
• Build robust Excel-based MVPs for GRI, profitability, surcharge leakage and pricing support.
• Design models with inputs, controls and refresh logic for reliability.
• Automate data ingestion and reporting using Microsoft 365; establish data quality checks.
