Qualifications

• Recognized specialist qualification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Experience in preventive medicine, cancer risk assessment or screening.
• Eligibility for UAE health authority licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive preventive health assessments and review personal and family medical histories.
• Evaluate cancer risk factors and identify patients who may benefit from enhanced screening or specialist assessment.
• Provide evidence-based counselling on cancer prevention, lifestyle modification, and risk reduction.
• Recommend age- and risk-appropriate screening in accordance with applicable clinical guidelines.
• Coordinate referrals for genetic counselling, oncology assessment, or further diagnostic investigations when indicated.
• Monitor patients with elevated risk and support continuity of preventive care.
• Collaborate with primary care, oncology, genetics, radiology, and other relevant departments.
• Educate patients on screening options, benefits, limitations, and follow-up requirements.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in preventive-care quality-improvement initiatives.
