Our mission? To switch up the status quo and become the UK's leading out-of-home business. With a fast-growing network of thousands of smart lockers, hundreds of retail partners, and the launch of our transformative Send service, we're bringing freedom to anyone with a parcel.

At InPost UK, we're building an unparalleled team committed to reshaping parcel logistics and redefining eCommerce. Our team includes experts in e-commerce, technology, scale-up growth, sustainability, logistics, and supply chain. We collaborate, innovate, support each other, and leave egos at the door.

About The Role

You will be at the heart of our daily communications, handling both B2B and consumer areas, managing agencies, writing press releases, and engaging with stakeholders. Your role involves strategic thinking, crisis communications, and ensuring smooth operations. Join a team that thrives on collaboration, creativity, and making a meaningful impact, especially as the business is rapidly growing.

What You’ll Be Doing
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy across consumer and business audiences, aligned with company objectives and broader group strategies.
  2. Deliver consumer and business communication activations and press campaigns.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and editors across various publications to secure media coverage and thought leadership opportunities.
  4. Manage external PR agencies to ensure consistent messaging and campaign success.
  5. Create compelling written content, including press releases, articles, and interview responses that effectively convey our message.
  6. Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities for proactive communication.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for aligned communication efforts across channels.
  8. Liaise with InPost Group Communications and other markets for alignment.
  9. Serve as the primary contact for media inquiries and manage crisis communications as needed.
  10. Develop metrics to evaluate communication effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
  11. Report on media coverage and communication impact to Marketing leadership and SLT.
What We Need From You
  1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  2. Proven experience as a communications manager.
  3. Extensive network of journalist contacts in trade, business, and consumer publications.
  4. Experience managing agencies or working within an agency setting.
  5. Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  6. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  7. Creative thinker with innovative communication strategies.
  8. Proactive, results-oriented, with keen attention to detail.

We seek individuals ready for a fast-paced environment, problem-solvers, and those who can balance immediate tasks with future planning. Drive, curiosity, and a desire to do things differently and brilliantly are qualities we value.
