Job description

Role Purpose:

• Responsible to develop use cases and solutions for various client requirements
• Responsible to align business requirements by providing leadership to subject matter experts to develop solutions involving multiple technologies, platforms, applications

Key Accountabilities:

• Comprehends the client needs both technical and business and convert the same into compelling solutions that addresses client requirements.
• Provides leadership on technology and domain area to devise a compelling business solution and support throughout the lifecycle.
• Provides architectural blueprints and technical leadership.
• Provides technical leadership on executing proof of concept leveraging internal and external technical capabilities and products.
• Works with internal and external stakeholders, partners, and product vendors to formulate use cases, solutions, and service strategies.
• Identifies and recommends solutions, products, and services to support the business goals and technical requirements.
• Prepares solution cost and price models aligning with the technical solution as well as competition landscape.
• Collaborates with various stakeholders to evaluate multiple scenarios.
• Reviews system and application designs to select right technology that provides efficient use of resources.
• Provides the plan for integration of multiple systems and technologies and provides oversight during implementation.
• Works with all stakeholders to foster innovation.
• Ensures that a security focus is inbuilt into the solution.
• Ensures BCMS guidelines and policies are considered in the design and subsequent implementations.
• Research on emerging trends and ideas.
• Evaluates new technologies that can be implemented.
• Creates processes to improve business efficiency.
• Provides knowledge transfer to internal project teams.
• Monitor and manage projects to ensure its timely and on budget completion.
• Participates in project reviews including both internal and external stakeholders.
• Works closely with various partners to carve out solution offering pertaining to the identified industry domains / client segments

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science
• Master's degree preferred.
• ITIL and TOGAF or equivalent certifications are needed.
• Certification in the fields of Data Science, Data Engineering, big data, software engineering preferred.
• Certifications in other technology streams preferred (AI, Machine learning)

Minimum Experience:

• A minimum of 8 10 years experience in IT out of which a minimum of 5 years in software architecture and presales

Job Specific Skills:

• Experience as Solution Architect for large scale Analytics, Insight, Decision Making and Reporting solutions, based on Big Data technology.
• Strong a solutions architect background, also has a good grounding and some hands-on experience software architecting, and in setting up Big Data platforms.
• Proficiency with Java, Python
• Experience working on complex software projects.
• Knowledge of C++/object-oriented programs, SQL, web application development, security, and open-source technologies
